Technical Practice of Putting Denitration Device into Operation before Grid Connection for
660 MW Coal-fired Units

Abstract: Based on the existing conditions of 660 MW coal-fired units, without technical transformation, Fuzhou Power Plant of
Huaneng International Power Co., Ltd. raised the flue gas temperature at the denitration inlet to 297 ℃by means of reasonable
coal blending and putting into operation the high-pressure heater in advance, and put the denitration system into operation before
grid connection. This paper briefly introduced the methods that can be adopted to put denitration device into operation before grid
connection for reference of similar units.
