Abstract: This paper described the necessity of energy conservation and emission reduction in thermal power plants, analyzed
the current problems of thermal power plants in China, explored the impact of peak carbon dioxide emissions and carbon neutrality
on thermal power enterprises, and proposed relevant measures for thermal power plants to implement energy conservation and emission reduction.
