Truck Scheduling in Open Pit Mines

Abstract: The planning of truck scheduling in an open pit mine play an important role in reducing costs and improving
efficiency for enterprises. The use of mathematical modeling and computer simulation can achieve scientific decisionmaking
and reduce human errors. The model building and algorithm optimization was focused on, and through a
comprehensive review of the literature and a detailed analysis of case studies, the main optimization objectives and
influencing factors of the model were summarized, the effects of various algorithms were compared and analyzed, problems
were raised, the main challenges and opportunities related to truck scheduling in open pit mines were clarified, and
practical suggestions for improving the efficiency and sustainability of mining operations were provided.
